As we approach our 100-year anniversary in 2027, the University of Houston is embarking on an exciting and transformative journey aimed at positioning ourselves as a top 50 public research university. Through meticulous preparation for the Centennial celebration, we are transforming our grounds to the Next Level, setting the stage for a new era of excellence and innovation.

A special addition to this project is the “UH Centennial Bench: A Seat in History.” Limited to 100 new benches, this exclusive opportunity is a unique and meaningful way to leave your mark on campus history.

With a donation of $10,000 per bench, you are supporting the Centennial Project and the University’s vision for a vibrant, walkable, well-connected campus for students and visitors alike. The benches will be placed throughout the footprint of the Centennial Project, along new pathways and in new outdoor gathering spaces. Each bench will display a personalized tribute plaque featuring the University of Houston’s Centennial Emblem.
