The objective of the mathematics component of the core curriculum is to develop a quantitatively literate college graduate. Every college graduate should be able to apply basic mathematical tools in the solution of real-world problems.

Mathematics: Approved Core Courses

  • MATH 1310: College Algebra
  • MATH 1311: Elementary Mathematical Modeling
  • Or any more advanced mathematics course for which the student is qualified upon enrollment.
