IDNS 4392: History of 20th Century Science
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: ENGL 1304 and credit for or enrollment in 12 hours of natural science courses. Analyzes central issues in the evolution of science during the past century.

IDNS 4393: Advanced Science Ethics
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: IDNS 4391 or consent of instructor. Includes a semester long practicum observing ongoing animal or human subject experiments. In-depth discussions of problems in scientific ethics, including issues encountered by students during practicum.

IDNS 5310: Scientific Writing
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and consent of instructor. Development of effective writing skills within the context of scientific disciplines. Emphasis on structure, style and discourse patterns of scientific writing.
