Admission Procedures for Undergraduates
Undergraduate applications are processed and evaluated through the Office of Admissions and, for international students, the Office of International Admissions.

Applicants accepted to the University of Houston as freshman are eligible to declare any major in the Technology Division at the Cullen College of Engineering. Applicants accepted to the University of Houston as transfer students are eligible to declare any CCE Technology Division major with the exception of the majors below. Students interested in pursuing the following majors must meet GPA requirements:
- BIOT, CETE, EPET and MEET require a minimum 2.50 UH GPA. Effective Spring 2015.
- Biotechnology
- Computer Engineering Technology
- Electrical Power Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Computer Information Systems requires a 2.5 Cumulative GPA
Current students at the University of Houston who wish to declare a Technology major other than the above majors must have a minimum UH cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Students who are currently enrolled at the University of Houston may change their major to the CCE Technology Division by submitting an online change of major petition.
