Please note: Advanced Ticket Sales close two (2) hours prior to the start of an event. Tickets can still be purchased at the door for nearly all of our events.

For School of Theatre & Dance Events – Due to limited seating in Quintero Theatre and Studio 208, performances often sell out before Advanced Ticket Sales close. We do, however, have a Standby Ticket Policy where you can purchase a ticket at the Box Office window in cash beginning 60 minutes prior to the event start time. If there are seats available at the start time, House Management will begin seating people from the standby list on a first come, first served basis.

The Last Night of Ballyhoo

Sunday, February 18, 2018 2 pm - 4 pm

Written by Alfred Uhry
Directed by Carolyn Boone

Winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Best Play.

Excitement fills the halls of a well-to-do German-Jewish family in 1939 Atlanta as middle-aged businessman Adolph, his sister Boo, shrewish sister-in-law Reba, and nieces Sunny and Lala decorate their “Jewish Christmas tree.” But when Adolph’s employee Joe, a charming young man and Eastern European Jew, drops by as the family prepares for Ballyhoo – the peak social event of the year – long-buried prejudices rise to the surface. The family is then forced to examine their own biases, beliefs and religious identities.
