Work Study STAR Program

The Work-Study Student Training and Research (STAR) Program is designed to provide support and mentorship to work-study undergraduate students engaged in a beginning research experience. Work-Study STAR Scholars will be mentored by a research faculty or staff member and paired with a peer facilitator. Students who complete program requirements will qualify for a $500 STAR Scholarship.

Undergraduate Research Day

Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and The Honors College,Undergraduate Research Day is an exciting event in which the research endeavors of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) participants, and many other undergraduates who have conducted substantive research projects within the year, are showcased through poster, paper, and creative presentations. Undergraduate Research Day 2012 will take place on Thursday, October 13th  at 4 p.m. in the Rockwell Pavilion.
