Guaranteed Free Tuition for Students with Family Income up to $30,000
Beginning in Fall 2008, the University of Houston will guarantee free tuition and mandatory fees to new in-state freshmen with family incomes at or below $30,000.
The Jump helps incoming freshman get "a jump" on college life by offering the opportunity to complete two courses and earn a total of six hours of credit towards their college degree before the beginning of their first semester.
A tuition rebate of $1000 is offered to undergraduate students who graduate having met the requirements for eligibility.
