Tabbi Martinez joined the Dean of Students team as an Instructional Assistant and works with Student Outreach and Support services to ensure students experiencing complex challenges are supported in their academic journey.

Tabbi is graduating from the UH Graduate College of Social Work in 2024 and will be working towards obtaining her license as a master social worker. She received her bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. 

Prior to coming to UH, Tabbi worked with individuals from early childhood to adulthood with cognitive, intellectual, and physical disabilities for eight years in a charter school system and a nonprofit setting. During Tabbi's time in the Dean of Students office she founded and serves as president of the student organization, Coog Student Parents. 

When she isn’t busy studying and serving students, Tabbi enjoys spending quality time around Houston with her spouse and their adorable daughter.
