TUTORING HOURS FOR SUMMER 2024 ARE ALL ONLINE!!

LAUNCH also has P.A.S.S. Sessions (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) in which a tutor has prepared extra practice, reviews, or activities. These are designed to help you succeed in the class. They will resume in the Fall Semester.

TSI MATH TUTORING PROGRAM

This summer, we are offering summer tutoring for the math portion of the TSI online this summer via Mircosoft Teams (June 3rd- August 7th.)

Please see the steps below on how to access tutoring:

1. You can sign in to AccessUH. 
2. Enter your cougarnet username and password.
3. Click on the Mircosoft 365 icon.On the left side of the page, you will see a Mircosoft Teams option. When you click on it, there will be an option to download the app or open the web verison of teams. From there you should be able to open the app and begin using it.
4. You can join the our Team by using the code "iukr13b" or by visiting this link.
5. Once you are ready to receive tutoring; enter the teams channel and post a message saying "TSI Tutoring." A tutor will greet you and give you further instruction. Our tutoring services are one a first come/first serve basis.
6. Bring your TSI score report with you to tutoring so that you can tell the tutor the areas you would like to work on.  If you turn on your camera it will make the tutoring much easier for the tutor.  The tutor may give you some practice questions to work on before your next tutoring session.
7. If you haven’t taken the TSI test yet, there are some practice tests at https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students/prepare-for-accuplacer/practice. Please take a practice test so you can tell the tutor which areas you would like to work on.  You will need to register for and take the actual TSI test before you come to orientation.
8.  When you feel ready, after receiving tutoring, you can take the TSI math test again and if you pass it, you will not need to take an extra math class in the fall.
