exam, that might be useful in studying for both the written 
and oral exams. Notice that if you come for an oral exam, you 
shouldn't necessarily expect me to ask you these exact questions!

Explain what is meant by degeneracy.

Describe the life history of a 40 solar mass star.

Describe the difference between the proton=proton chain
and the CNO cycle.

Describe what happens to a person as they fall into a 
black hole.

Explain what the origin of heavy elements in the universe
is.
