Biol. 1334 and 1344:Human Anatomy
and Physiology classes

The first semester of Human Anatomy and Physiology (BIOL 1334) provides basic information on the structure and function of the human body. The topics covered include basic biological chemistry, cell structure and function, histology of various tissues, structure and function of integument, bones, joints and muscles, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology (central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems), and sensory perception (gustation, olfaction, vision and hearing). The second semester (BIOL 1344) covers physiology of digestion, respiration, blood circulation, excretion, reproduction and endocrine glands. Biol. 1134 and Biol. 1144 - Human Anatomy and Physiology Labs complement the two semesters of lecture classes. To enroll, please contact the Biology-Biochemistry advising office.
