Week 4

I'm one month old now and weighing in at 8lbs 6 ounces. That's because I love to eat and now I get to drink a little apple juice! I am starting to look different now than when I was born. My features are starting to develop. I still have a head full of thick hair that everyone is always talking about. I am staying awake longer in the daytime now and sleeping a little longer at night. I still wake my Mom and Dad up sometimes though! I love to be held and to look around and see what's going on. My Mommy and Auntie Tay took me to take my first set of professional pictures! It was fun but I got a little cranky and restless after a while. I may as well get used to the camera though, I see a lot of them in my future.

Weeks 2-3

I'm growing more and more everyday. My doctor's visits have all been A-OK but I hate getting those shots!! I've had a lot of visitors since coming home and I love the company. I'm eating more and more and I can recognize and respond to my Mom and Dad's voices now. I can't wait until I'm a little bigger and able to go out.

Week 1

I've been a home for a whole week now. Boy was I glad to get out of those hospital t-shirts and into some of the nice clothes that all of my family and friends bought for me. I'm nursing very well now and I love to eat!! I'm also trying to lift my head up already. Well there's a lot for me to see!! I went for my first post delivery doctor appointment on January 25, 2002. The doctor says that I am doing great (YAAAYY!!). Mommy is continuing to rest and is doing good also. My mommy and daddy are still going through all the nice gifts I got and getting my room together. Right now I'm sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room in my very own cradle so that I can be close to them all the time. When I'm a little bigger I will move into my very own room!
