FIELD EXPERIENCES
I have extensive experience in planning, organizing, writing survey instruments and implementing household surveys.
I collected primary and secondary data for the following projects:
1. Parochial Politics: Ethnic Preferences and Political Corruption (Abhijit Banerjee and Rohini Pande)

The data collection involved survey of 300 elected politicians and 300 Journalists in 70 districts of Uttar Pradesh, India. My responsibility
involved writing the survey instruments, field testing of the survey instrument, training the investigators and managing the data entry process.
2. Economic and Social Impacts of Rural Roads ( Abhijit Banerjee, Rohini Pande and Santosh Kumar)

The project collected household data from 300 villages in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh, India. The data was collected by PRAs
technique. I was involved in the developing the survey instrument and overall co-ordination of the survey.
3. Impact Assessment of Rural Development Programs in Mangan District, Sikkim, India
In this project, I was involved from the planning to implementation stage. It is a household survey of 300 households in Sikkim, India.
I was responsible for developing survey instrument, field testing, primary and secondary data collection, data analysis and report writings.
4. Kisan Credit Card Scheme: Impact, Weaknesses and Further Reforms
This project involved household data collection in 15 major states of India. The sample size is 5000 households. I was a part of the team
that helped supervise the whole primary data collection process, secondary data collection and data cleaning.
