Psyc 3310 – Industrial/Organizational Psychology

Should I Even be Enrolled in This Class?

Although Industrial/Organizational Psychology is for the most part a straightforward topic, this course is a 3000-level course for a reason.  Success in this course requires a variety of skills, abilities, and knowledge, many of which have not been developed early in your college career.  Consequently, this course has certain prerequisites which you must complete before you are eligible to enroll in this course.  Answer the pre-qualification questions below to see if you are eligible to enroll this semester.

Course Prequalification Questions

1.     Are you at least a junior?

2.     Have you successfully completed Freshman Composition?

3.     Have you successfully completed Psyc 1300?

·        If you answered “no” to any of the questions above, you have not met the requirements for this course, and you may not enroll this semester.

·        If you answered “yes” to all three of the above questions, you qualify to enroll in the course – however, you may want to take Course Readiness Questionnaire to see how well you are likely to do in the course.  Although this is not mandatory, it may help you make a more informed decision as to whether to take this course at this time, given your current skills and academic situation.  (If you are having trouble seeing the Course Readiness Questionnaire as a web page, try downloading the Excel file.  Right click here and then select “Save Target As” to save the file onto your computer).
