SPORTSCLUB AND REGISTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATION - The Cougar Bowling Club (CBC) is a University of Houston Sportclub and Registered Student Origination with the Department of Campus Activities. Moneys can be requested each year as a Sportsclub and Registered Student Organization. Moneys for sponsored activities are limited to $1500. per academic year.

Additional moneys for tournament expenses and scholarships are raised thru fundraising. The Cougar Bowling Club raises a total of about $13,000. per year through various types of fund-raisers (i.e.; fall bowlathon, bowling ball raffles, HBA Christmas Tournament, UH t-shirt & spirit sales, etc.). While the University Center contributes no dollar amount, their support through the backing of the Leisure Service Manager and Games Room Supervisor represents a sizable contribution.
