My Life - a brief synopsis:

Born: Indianapolis,Indiana
Grew up in Indianapolis and Cincinnati, Ohio
Undergraduate degree: B.S., Applied & Engineering Physics, Cornell University, 1987.
Graduate degrees: M.S. ('95) and Ph.D. ('98), University of Houston.
Current projects and extracurricular fun:
- Looking for future employment!!
- Post-doctoral work: Simulated Annealing to determine crystal structure.
- Teaching Java to self.
- Learning Hungarian Rhapsodies on piano.
- Teaching eight students in piano.
- Learning Argentine Tango. Join us - become a tanguero/a! ( We need more women. )

I am a recent graduate from the Physics Department at the University of Houston. My graduate thesis concerned measuring disorder in pattern formations - which is related to non-linear dynamics - under Dr. Gunaratne. I am working on post-doctoral project to find a crystal's structure by using a process of simulated annealing, employing Monte Carlo methods and multigrid techniques.
Since I am now looking for work, I find it beneficial to post my résumé here, in the hopes that a casual or not-so-casual browser will be interested in my extraordinary abilities!
