Are you interested in teaching, studying or researching abroad? Then explore the Fulbright US Students Program to see if it is a good fit for you. The UH campus deadline is Monday, September 24, 2012 for the 2013-2014 application cycle. Students should view the Fulbright Info session webinar archive and complete the online advising form. You will be contacted about scheduling a consulation meeting with Dr. Veronique Tran, UH Fulbright Campus Advisor. Undergraduates, postbacs, and graduate students who are US citizens are eligible to apply for the Fulbright Fellowship.

Complete UH Fulbright Advising Form for Prospective Applicants
Due to the high number of fellowships that have already been awarded, funds for this program have been exhausted. Travel Fellowship applications will no longer be accepted for travel in Summer 2013. Students are encouraged to seek other sources of funding such as faculty mentor, department, or travel awards by the conference organization. The Provost's Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program (PURS) provides talented UH juniors and seniors with the opportunity to enrich their undergraduate experience by participating in a research project under the direction of a UH faculty mentor. Scholarship recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship to conduct one semester of research and engage in other scholarly activities with faculty members. We are seeking students who have co-authored peer-reviewed papers, presented at national conferences, applied for patents, competed in research or design competitions, received prestigious fellowships, etc.
