Derived from 20-year time series analyses and duration models of press freedom violations around the world. It offers new insights into evolutionary patterns of press freedom abuse, predicting press freedom violations, and pop culture and decline of press freedom. Kariithi collected the data from various sources including Freedom House (New York), Committee to Protect Journalists (New York) and Index on Censorship (London). SPSS, STATA, RATS and LIMDEP were used in data analysis.
