HDCS 3300

Prerequisite: Junior standing or consent of instructor. Systems-theory approach to organizational planning and decision making in a variety of contexts.
This course is applicable for all HDCS majors.

 

HDCS 4369

Planning and organizing a proprietorship, partnership, or small corporation with emphasis on technical assistance, marketing strategy, location, financing, legal issues, management of human resources, promotion, business records, credit and collections, and entrepreneurial characteristics.

 

HDCS 4386

Prerequisite: HDCS 3300 or consent of instructor. Principles and techniques of mass communication, direct marketing and media used in delivering, merchandising, and industrial distribution programs, and providing services.

 

OCED 6330

The coordination function of the occupational teacher-coordinator, including introduction to cooperative occupational education, selection of training stations and training sponsors, placement of students, development of training plans, student selection, evaluation, program management by computer, public relations, and time management.
 

OCED 6331

Prerequisites: OCED 6301 and consent of instructor. Instructional strategies for teaching marketing education programs at the secondary level.
