RESEARCH | Cultural Institute

I created a nonprofit organization, the Houston Institute for Culture, to promote the history and culture of the region. The organization presents features and information on the Internet at www.cultural-crossroads.com.

To raise awareness of the diversity of Texas and to gain public support for the Houston Institute for Culture, I organize cultural programs at area universities.

My goals for the organization are to promote education, offer resources for artists and community advocates, establish facilities for exhibits and performances, and offer programs for children to learn about history and culture.
