"Earth is a very small part of a vast universe, but it is our home. It provides the resources that support our modern society and the ingredients necessary to maintain life. Therefore, knowledge and understanding of our planet is critical to our social well being and indeed, vital to our survival." [Tarbuck and Lutgens, Sixth Edition, 1999]
Reading List
The reading list should be followed throughout the semester. Use the reviews in the text (and in the Study Guide) to check mastery of the information. On each test several questions will be taken from the review material presented in the text.
You should review this page at least once a week. Who knows.....there might be something "extra" posted.
Copies of the text portion of the slides are being placed on the Internet. At the beginning of each chapter you will have the opportunity to download a file containing this information. You may wish to print these out before class and use them as the framework for your notes. It will take a few days but I will try and get these posted shortly. I will have to make sure that this will work from the library but it should.
You can download a text document that should work with any word processor or you can download one that will work with Microsoft Word. The Word document will preserve the large and bold type whereas you would have to add that for the text document.
