Prereq.: Enrollment in or completion of ENG 1301.
Overview: PSY 1303 is an introductory course presenting the scientific study of mental processes and behavior.  While definitions may vary, it can be generally said that psychologists observe behavior and then draw inferences about the mental processes that may have produced the behavior.
Format: Lecture will be based on the assumption that students have completed the assigned reading before coming to class. 
Goals: Upon course completion, students should have a general understanding of psychology, its history, present research activities, and its possible future.
