July 22, 2025 Greetings, Parking and Transportation Services has been working diligently this summer to upgrade our parking gate equipment and modernize our parking management software. These enhancements are aimed at improving efficiency, convenience, and the overall experience for students, faculty, staff and visitors. To facilitate the installation of the new system, your myParking account in AccessUH will be temporarily unavailable starting today (Tuesday, July 22) at 3 p.m. The system is anticipated to be back online by 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1. During this downtime:
- Fall parking permit sales will be paused.
- You will not be able to update vehicle information, appeal citations, or modify toll tag details through your myParking account.
- These services will also be unavailable in person. We kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the customer service office for these matters during this period.
If you plan to bring a different vehicle to campus that isn’t currently listed on your parking permit, please email parking@uh.edu with the following information to avoid receiving a citation while the system is offline:
- Your name
- PSID number
- Vehicle make and model
- License plate number
