WGRC Advisory Board
The WGRC Advisory Board is comprised of UH staff, faculty and student representatives. The purpose of the Advisory Board is to foster gender equity and success at UH through research, education, strategic partnerships, and awareness about the WGRC’s programs and services. The board shall provide input and recommendations in and advisory manner to carry out the mission of the WGRC.
WGRC Volunteer Program
Students have the opportunity to get involved on campus by volunteering at events, workshops, awareness tables, and in the office for both the WGRC and LGBTQ Resource Centers. Attend a training and volunteer according to your own schedule. Accrue volunteer hours and earn incentives. Accrue more hours and earn leadership opportunities. Register for fall training below:

The CORE (or Champions for Outreach, Resources, and Education) Team, is the Student Ambassador Program- the official student representatives of the Women and Gender Resource Center (WGRC). CORE Team ambassadors lead discussion groups, resource tabling events, and help with WGRC programs and events. For more information, visit our CORE Ambassador Webpage.
The WGRC is pleased to provide internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Whether you are looking for an enriching and developmental experience, or in need of an internship for course credit, the WGRC is a great place to intern!
