This information is mostly based on “A Catalogue of Star Chamber Proceedings Relating to Wales” compiled by Ifan ab Owen Edwards (Cardiff U P 1929) but first imressions are that this list may have been less than comprehensive. What this project needs is someone who knows early modern Welsh famllies. It is also becoming plain that by the reign of Elizabeth there was a sizeable Welsh diaspora.

Cases may be listed in more than one county. The cities of London and Bristol are treated as counties. Causes arising at sea are in a county called Maritime.
