Bower, plaintiff; Jenkins et al: for riot and other misdemeanors the defendant convicted for causing a writ of execution of 40s due unto him by the plaintiff to be indirectly executed by one of his servants by taking certain cattle out of the plaintiff’s ground without any warrant from the sheriff for that purpose as deputy to the undersheriff and for carrying them three or 4 miles off and [ap]praising them at under values for his own benefit albeit the plaintiff sent him the 40s the next morning for which offence he was committed and fined at £40 and adjudged to pay the plaintiff £5 for his damages and not to execute any place of undersheriff’s deputy or clerk to the undersheriff any time after.
