Plaintiff ordered to ask defendant’s forgiveness in an open assizes for exhibiting slanderous matter against him in his bill, the which the plaintiff performed accordingly, yet the defendant brought his action of the case against him, and recovered for the same £500 which the court upon a motion staying being for the same matters here dealt with, and the justice of assize to certify if there were any effect or disorder in the plaintiff’s behaviour in his submission.
