For counterfeiting and publishing a note or case in writing of John Mounson and subscribing his name thereto as done by him. Cromwell, plaintiff; Edward Andrews, defendant: for practices about the counterfeiting of a grant of an Advowson of Alexon which were pardoned and therefore the court dismissed them, yet convicted him of a practice and misdemeanor in shewing forth a case subscribed with the name of John Mounson, and owning the same to be his proper hand which John Mounson denied which the court held to be counterfeit and published since the pardon, £10 fine and Fleet.

For inserting slanderous words in a bill against a 3rd person not defendant in the same plaintiff in his answer to the Lord Cromwell’s bill. The Lord Cromwell versus Andrews for slanderous and infamous words and sentences inserted by him unto a bill of complaint by him the said Andrews exhibited into this court against other persons the said Lord Cromwell being not named as a defendant therein for which the said Andrews was committed and ordered to make his open submission in this court to the Lord Cromwell but not fined in regard he prayed the said Lord Cromwell in open court to forgive the same promising never to offend him so any more.
