"A summarie of the consultation and advice given by the Lordes and others of the Privye Counsell, collected out of the sundrye and severall speaches of the said Counsellors," on the questions as to what peril might arise to the Queen, on the marriage of the Queen of Scots with the Lord Darnley.
  • TNA SP 12/36, 66. 1565 June 17? [Earl of Sussex] to the Queen. Complains of the conduct of the Earl of Leicester, who, notwithstanding Her Majesty's injunction that neither should molest each other, has assembled great bands of armed men to waylay him.
  • TNA SP 12/36, 67. 1565 June 18. Dr. Rob. Beaumont to Cecil. Complains of the excessive exportation of corn from the neighbourhood of Cambridge, especially from Lynn. Requests that authority may be given for stay of all corn within five miles of the University.
  • TNA SP 12/36, 68. 1565 June 24. Wm. Lord Cobham to Cecil. Touching head money demanded by the officers of Dover and Sandwich. Dover can only contribute 100l. towards repair of their haven.
  • TNA SP 12/36, 69. 1565 June 25. Earl of Leicester and Sir Wm. Cecil to Dr. Beaumont. In reply to his letter relative to the exportation of grain from Cambridge, which shall be stayed until further order can be taken.

  • TNA SP 12/36, 72. 1565 June. Indenture between Cornelius de Vos on the one part. and others on the part of the Queen, for the working of all manner of mines or ores of alum, copperas, or the "lycours" of them, specially within the Isle of Wight.
