PLEASE it your Grace, yesternight, I enterceptid a Messenger, passing betwene the Quene Dowagier and the Towne of Leighe, withe the Ciphre whiche I sende unto your Grace here inclosed: Wherin it must needes be, that some of their principallest Secretes are contained, bycause the Messenger confessithe that Fiers shoulde have byn made by theim of the Towne, for certaine especiall Signification of Matter of Importance betwene theim and the Dowagier. Uppon Deliverie of the Ciphre wherfore, if Means might be fownde to dissipher it, no dought but some Matter worthie Intelligence wolde be knowen therby. Refferring therfore the further Consideration of the same to your Grace good Discression, to be used as your Grace shall seeme best, I wishe Thincrease of your Honnor.
