All due Recommendacions to your right Worshipfull Maystership humbly premysed pleaseth yt the same to be advertysed that this present Day being the fourth of December in the evenyng I receyved A lettere from my frende Thomas Bacon of London by which he did advertyse me that it pleased you to Wyll hym to wryght to me that immedyatly uppon the sight of his lettre yf I were in health and myght possybly I should make my repayre to your Maystershipp to London. Truly Sir I fynde my selfe in suche felle estat by reason of suche greate and extreme sycknes and and deseas which I have had this yere Whereof though I be somewhat amended yet I have not so recevered my perfect health as I may be able to take uppon me this journey without greate perill of my lyfe, beseeching your Maystership therfor to holde me excused, though I deferr my repayre unto you tyll such tyme as I shall in better case to travell and then I wyll not fayle god wylling to awayt uppon you, Nevertheles yf the cause be of such importance that your Maystership thinck yt expedyent that I come I wyll not fayle to repayre unto you with all dylygens though I be carryed in a waggon And for the knowlege of your pleasure and good advyse therein, I have sent this bearer my servante unto you, by whome I beseche you to advertyse me thereof. Allso Sir at this present my wyse lyeth very syck in greate dannger, to whome I beseche allmyghty god to send short recovery of health and to your Maystershipp long and prosperouse life wyth encrease of Worshop Wrytton in haste at Norwych this fourth day of December.
