Practice to procure the escape of 2 prisoners in the Marshalsea, [lying?] upon executions, punished. Sir William Knowles, keeper of the Marshalsea, plaintiff; Guyse et al, defendants. For practice in the defendants to work the escape of one Dove and Pauncefoot, prisoners in the Marshalsea, upon execution who escaped accordingly by cutting a bar in sunder of a window whom the defendants standing ready with weapons, did receive them, for which the defendants were committed and fined at £20 apiece and ordered to make submission and satisfaction to the plaintiff for the executions and money for which they lay on prison and the prisoners to be called to answer the bill and to be punished also.
