Cougar Preview is our grand on-campus experience for students to get to know their future home! This event provides an introduction to the University of Houston from the Admissions team, an academic information session by your college of interest and an overview of scholarships and financial aid. Plus, you'll hear from current students who are excited to share their experiences! See the full schedule below.

Getting to Campus and Parking

Event parking is available in the  University Gateway Garage. You can type "4725 Martin Luther King Blvd. Houston, TX 77004" into your preferred navigation app. Be advised there are many other parking garages on campus and your parking fee will not be validated if you park in a garage that is not the University Gateway Garage. UH Ambassadors will be guiding you from the parking garage to Student Center South.

Hear from University representatives and get a brief overview of today's events.

Your day begins with an exciting look into the life of UH students! Learn about our traditions, UH Athletics and how you can be involved on campus.

9:30 a.m. | Academic Colleges

Academic College Information Your major matters. Join the college of your choice to meet current students and advisors to learn about your future field of study. You'll be escorted to the location.

10:30 a.m. | Student Center South

Campus Tour (Optional) An Ambassador will show you some highlights of our beautiful campus. Tours will depart from Student Center South every 15 minutes.

10:45 a.m. | Student Center South

Campus Resource Fair/Cougar Carnival | Ballroom Learn about campus departments that provide services, programs and resources to support you during your college career.

10:45 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. | Student Center  

Applying as a Freshman | Houston Room
Learn about freshman admission requirements and upcoming deadlines.
Applying as a Transfer Student | Astrodome
Learn about transfer admissions requirements, nagivating transfer credits and the benefits of joining UH.
Already Applied | Theater
Regardless of whether you’re a freshman or transfer student, if you've already submitted an application, it's time to learn about your next steps on the road to becoming a new Coog!
