Each February, we host Cougar Travel—an annual counselor fly-in event that allows school counselors to explore our campus, academic departments, and on-campus programs that support student success. During your visit, you'll have opportunities to do things like visit labs connected to our STEM programs and engage with faculty in our top-ranked Honors College.

Our goal is that you’ll leave this campus experience with the knowledge and network to best connect the University of Houston to your students during their college search.

The University of Houston will cover the costs of:

  • Lodging for two nights in your own room at the on-campus Hilton hotel
  • Meals throughout your visit
  • Airfare into Houston Hobby Airport
  • Transportation to and from Houston Hobby Airport

This program is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please complete the Counselor Interest Form. Selected participants will be contacted between mid-December and January.
