DISCOUNT TICKETS FOR ROCKETS GAME
AND PREVIEW OF STAGES’ PRODUCTION

The University of Houston community can enjoy a night of comedy at the Stages Repertory Theatre and watch the Houston Rockets battle the New York Knicks at discount prices.

Stages Repertory Theatre, 3201 Allen Parkway, is offering all UH students, faculty and staff $5 discount tickets to “Searching for Eden: The Diaries of Adam and Eve,” a romantic comedy based on the stories of Mark Twain. The production focuses on the world’s first lovers who meet in paradise at the dawn of time and then embark on an epic, exuberant battle of the sexes. Several thousand years later, the middle-aged couple returns to present-day Eden, now an upscale resort, in an attempt to recapture their primal passion.

The discount is valid for preview performances at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 and Thursday, Feb. 9. Tickets must be purchased in advanced by calling the box office at 713-527-0123.

The Houston Rockets’ College Night is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Toyota Center. The Rockets invite all college students, university employees, alumni, family and friends to receive discounted tickets to see them take on the Knicks. To order tickets, fax to 713-758-7297 or call Edward Gonzalez at 713-758-7552 by 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10.
