1) Shale and Extractable organic Matter, and
2) Produced Crude Oil From the Eagle Ford Shales
  • Description:
    1) Fingerprinting Crude Oil and Their Production zones in Shale Reservoirs.
    2) Up to 57 trace elements Measured on each sample.
    3) Application of Geochemical Production Allocation.
  • Work Scope: ICP-OES and Triple Quad ICP-MS Analysis core samples and Produced oils.
  • Status: 80% complete.
Vanadium Isotope Analysis of Shales, Extractable Organic Matter and Crude oils from Unconventional Shale Reservoirs.
  • Description: Matching Isotopes to establish producing Zones in the Subsurface (crude Oil, EOM and Shale).
  • Work Scope: Chromatographic Separation and V isotope analysis by MC-ICM-MS.
  • Status: 50% complete.
