Navigating the Ever-Changing World of ESG in the Energy Industry

The Consortium for Energy Corporate Social Responsibility (CECSR) will host a day long workshop on ESG as applied to the energy industry.

About This Event

The Consortium for Energy Corporate Social Responsibility (CECSR) at the University of Houston (UH) will host a day long workshop on Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) as applied to the different sectors of the energy industry on February 27, 2020.


The morning sessions will provide current and leading thoughts on ESG reporting from multiple perspectives of the energy industry – industry experts, investors, raters, rankers, and academics. The workshop sessions in the afternoon will discuss guidelines and tools for ESG reporting including identifying materiality that matters.


This workshop is targeted for energy stakeholders engaged with ESG reporting and aimed at providing them some perspectives on navigating the ratings and rankings in ESG and how one might get prepared to manage the ESG message.

Note: Event is free to attend, however a $20.00 fee will be charged for all who RSVP and do not attend the event.
