Madison Brown is a dedicated professional committed to bridging the gap between talented students and exciting career opportunities. She develops innovative programming and resources to assist individuals in navigating the employment process while strategically planning recruiting initiatives across various industries. She also supports the Employer Relations Development team by managing event logistics for career fairs, special events, and employer meet-and-greets. 

Additionally, Madison currently serves as the primary point of contact for faculty and staff seeking to hire students for on-campus employment, including College Work Study (CWS) and Non-College Work Study (NCWS) roles.

Prior to joining University Career Services, Madison earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Secondary Licensure from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) in May 2022. During her undergraduate studies, she held on-campus positions as an Academic Ambassador for the university’s Center for Student Success and as a Resident Assistant for Housing and Residence Life. In these roles, Madison played a key role in creating a safe and supportive environment for students to achieve their academic and personal goals. Her passion for student success led her to enroll in the Teacher Education Program at USM in 2020, where she aimed to further develop her academic and pedagogical skills. In December 2023, Madison obtained her Master of Arts degree in English, continuing to fuel her passion for education and student development.
 
Driven by her passion for empowering students and recent graduates, Madison is instrumental in establishing employer partnerships and facilitating meaningful connections between students and employers, providing valuable experiences for those seeking career and internship opportunities.

Madison continues to pursue professional development opportunities to enhance her skills and knowledge in talent acquisition and career development, maintaining a commitment to fostering recruiting success at the University of Houston.
