Experiential learning is central to the facilitation of learning in the human resource development programs at the University of Houston College of Technology. Fourteen years ago, Consuelo Waight, associate professor of the Human Resource Development Program, introduced a mentoring project in an organization development course to contextualize and accelerate student learning.
