University Career Services provides students a full lineup of Virtual Career Services.

Virtual Workshops

Remaining UCS workshops will be held virtually using zoom. Please log into Cougar Pathway to view upcoming virtual workshops and for more details.

Virtual Career Counseling Appointments

30-minute appointments with a career counselor can be conducted via phone or virtually using zoom by logging into Cougar Pathway and submit your appointment request by following the process steps. Once your appointment request has been submitted a career counselor will email you with more details.

Virtual Chat

Expanded Virtual Drop-in hours during the following days and times using our Virtual Chat Platform through Friday, April 17 by clicking on the (Live Chat) button on the UCS homepage.

Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.
Extended hours Monday-Tuesday from 4 - 5 p.m.
Friday from 1 - 4 p.m.

Counseling & Psychological Services

CAPS provides 24h/7d crisis support. If you are experiencing a crisis situation and need to speak with someone immediately, please feel free to contact CAPS and you will be connected to the consultant on duty. If it is after business hours and you are in imminent crisis, please call 911 or CAPS at 713-743-5454 and you will be connected to the after-hours clinician. This crisis support is also available on weekends, holidays and during any office/University closures.
