Responsible Conduct of Research: Requirements and Options

Thursday, November 3, 2022

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Recipients of awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are required to comply with specific requirements to ensure appropriate training in the responsible conduct of research. Regardless of funding, however, these core ethical values are expected to be upheld in all research conducted at the university, and research team education in all applicable RCR areas is highly encouraged.

The speakers will review RCR training options available both at and outside UH.

This 50-in-5 session is part of the Division of Research’s University Research Explained Series, developed to support faculty in a variety of research and innovation efforts.
