Lessons Learned: Making Your DoD Proposal a Success
Monday, October 7, 2019
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us for a 50-in-5 workshop focused on the development of Department of Defense (DoD) proposals.
If you are planning to submit a proposal to the DoD, you will find this workshop beneficial.
Increasing the success rate of our proposals is an important part of our 50-in-5 strategy. The DoD funds research in engineering, information and physical sciences, and also has programs in the life and behavioral sciences as well as medical sciences. To be successful, the proposal must be relevant to the agency’s mission. It therefore becomes important to learn about the priorities, understand the proposal process, and learn how to identify which funding opportunities are relevant to faculty interest.
The workshop will include a session from McAllister and Quinn, a panel of faculty who have direct experience with DoD proposals, and a logistics session with Pre-Award Director Ben Mull, Ph.D.
