About the Event
Management of research data is a critical component of effective, sustainable research and a necessity in the current research environment. Topics to be discussed include: Data management plans; data integrity; storage and back-up; data access, ownership and data privacy; compliance with funder and university policies; data archiving and sharing, including the new NIH policy; and data curation and reproducibility.
About the Speakers
Reid Boehm, Ph.D., research data management librarian at UH Libraries, and Claudia Neuhauser, Ph.D., associate VP for research and technology transfer and director of the HPE Data Science Institute, will lead an interactive workshop on the essential elements of data management for UH researchers across disciplines along with available resources and guidance.
