CITE Assessment Workshop: Ethical Decision Making and Social Responsibility

cite-assessment-workshop-2.png

Ethical Decision Making and Social Responsibility are two of the six Student Learning Outcomes for the Cougar Initiative to Engage. Program leaders who receive CITE grants are required to evaluate student work for at least two of the learning outcomes.

Ethical Decision Making and Social Responsibility can seem to be daunting learning outcomes to evaluate. In this workshop, Dr. Monique Baucham will share strategies for developing assignments and rubrics to assess how students are developing skills in these areas. Dr. Baucham is the SACSCOC Liaison and Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Assessment and Accreditation.

This workshop is designed for faculty at all stages of the CITE grant process, including those considering a future application, in the process of applying, or preparing to begin a CITE program in the summer or fall, as well as leaders of other co-curricular programs who are interested in incorporating Ethical Decision Making and Social Responsibility.
