Call for Proposals: Innovative Teaching and Learning Symposium

Dear University of Houston System Faculty and Staff,

The annual Innovative Teaching and Learning Symposium (ITLS) will be hosted on the University of Houston campus on Friday, April 21, 2017.

UH System faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals for individual or group presentations. The theme this year focuses on accessibility and universal design in courses to benefit all students, but we welcome all proposals that showcase creative approaches to teaching and/or use of technology. The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, February 3, 2017.

ITLS is a UH System collaborative effort of Instructional Design teams and faculty from UH, UH-Clear Lake, UH-Downtown, and UH-Victoria. The University of Houston is sponsoring this day devoted to bringing faculty and staff from all campuses together to share innovative teaching and learning ideas.  This year's keynote speaker is JoAnna Hunt, Accessibility Manager for Blackboard.

For more information, please visit the ITLS website or send an email to fdis@uh.edu. We look forward to seeing you April 21.

Sincerely,

Jeff Morgan
Associate Provost for Education Innovation and Technology
