Crew Applications are Now Open!
Are you ready to be a part of UH's first tradition?
What is Cub Camp?
Cub Camp is a supplemental first year transition program designed to bridge the gap between initial course enrollment and the beginning of the first fall semester. Students engage in purposeful activities that allow for a deeper understanding of UH culture and tradition, promote successful transition into college life, and identify and cultivate vital support systems.
What does Crew do?
If you join the Crew, your role will be crucial to carry out the behind the scenes logistics needed to make Cub Camp a success. These include assisting in arrival and departure processes, set up and break down, creating Cub Camp representative banners, and carrying out other duties in order to ensure that all freshmen have a great camp experience.
Crew Member Testimonials:
"I love Cub Camp! It has been such a positive experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. The skits and the activities that take place are so fun and it's a great feeling to know that I was a part of the freshman experience."
- Genesis Jimenez
"Cub Camp was a great leadership experience! I loved meeting incoming freshmen and working with student leaders from all over campus. It was a great deal of work but there's nothing I would change for the world. This program is AMAZING!"
