The University of Houston Provost Office and the Graduate School presents the 1st Annual Graduate Research and Scholarship Projects Day on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Houston, University Center (UC) Ballroom & Theatre.
This event will expose Houston and the UH community to the array of graduate research-related activities across all disciplines; showcase graduate students' research to a wider audience; provide networking opportunities for graduate students; and celebrate the research, scholarship and creative endeavors of our UH graduate and professionals students.
The Graduate School invites graduate and professional students engaged in various scholarly and artistry research projects across the University to participate in and take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their research/performance work to peers, administrators, faculty, staff and others.
Graduate Research and Scholarship Projects Day activities will include poster and oral presentations to judges, TED like talks, demonstrations and performances, and a separate publication competition. Posters/demonstrations/performances/publications showcased at the event will be reviewed by a panel of invited judges and prizes will be awarded to the top presenters.
