Kialyn Yendell, M.Ed. - Director of Health Professions Advising

Kialyn Yendell has been in academic advising since 2008, working primarily with STEM majors. She started her career at UH in the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics’ Undergraduate Academic Advising Center, then as the Director of Student Success for the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics. Most recently, Kialyn served as the Director of Academic Advising for the College of Science & Engineering at University of Houston- Clear Lake. She is passionate about helping students find a path to achieve their goals.

Kialyn received her M.Ed. from University of Houston, and B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is an active participant in the Texas Academic Advising Network (TEXAAN) and the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).

 

Robert Hamilton, M.S. - Health Professions Advisor

Robert Hamilton has been in academic advising since 2014, and started his career at Lamar University. He advised a variety of majors, focusing on Communications, Speech and Hearing Sciences, American Sign Language, Criminal Justice, and Sociology as well as providing support for other disciplines and majors. Robert has also worked as an adjunct instructor for various institutions since 2012, coordinating with advisors and professors on the teaching side to serve students.

Robert received his M.S. from Lamar University in Kinesiology, and B.S. in Health from Texas A&M. Robert maintains professional certifications through the American Council on Exercise and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
