Innovative, collaborative research demands flexible lab space, and proximity to others’ workspaces and resources. Laboratory spaces with glass barriers will provide an inviting atmosphere, and encourage synergy among students and faculty conducting research. This open dynamic will make a significant impact on the collaborative, interprofessional research at UHCOP.
Key components and capabilities will include:
- Core Facilities for high-throughput screening, imaging, spectrometry, and analytical chemistry
- Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR) facility
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) facility and molecular modeling
- Ancillary labs, including centrifuge room, instrument room and cell culture lab
- Individual bench labs
- Health analytics
