METRO – A great way to get to campus

Happy first day of the semester Coogs!
Hopefully by this point you all have developed your transportation plan and know exactly how you’ll be getting to and from campus every day; however, for those of you who haven’t don’t forget to consider riding METRO, Houston’s local transit provider.
With several bus routes running directly to campus, as well as the new Purple line METRORail route that runs along the perimeter of UH, there are many ways for Cougars to get around.
If you’re interested in using METRO’s services, sign up for a discounted METRO fare card. Offered exclusively to UH students, the discounted cards can be reserved online and picked up in person at the Welcome Center Parking Desk.
